DESIGN INSPIRATION: A "Maison de maitre" or, colonial home, is a simple construction of a wooden platform on a stone foundation and was the inspiration behind this piece. While exploring the town of "Les Anses-d'Arlet" the bright yellow and blue of the building pictured below caught my eye and didn't let go. In designing this piece, I strove to capture the brave and effective color choices of this home and its timeless structure; two visual elements that rang throughout the town. While also incorporating JOJ's classic style, this piece was truly designed to find home with the most bold and elegant of women.
